Visitors from countries other than India, Maldives, and Bangladesh need a visa to enter Bhutan. Entry is possible through Phuentsholing, Gelephu, or Samdrup Jongkhar. Once permitted, a visa clearance letter is given for presentation at the entry point and will be stamped in your passport. A Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) will be applied daily for all foreign visitors during their stay.
